Prof. Gail S. Goodman is the Distinguished Professor of Psychology as well as director of the Center for Public Policy Research at the University of California Davis. Her name has been widely praised as a pioneer in the field of witness testimony by children and the eyewitness memory in the context of legal proceedings. Professor Goodman regularly publishes her work and has been awarded many grants and has been honored with many award both international and national. She has collaborated with a variety of organisations and governments across the world on policy and research pertaining to the child victimization of the legal system. She serves as a consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center, formerly it was the Multidisciplinary Interview Center of Sacramento County Child Protective Services.
